No. Cleaning runs entirely in your browser.

Will code blocks be changed?

With “Preserve formatting inside code blocks” enabled, fenced code keeps its original indentation and spacing.

What about ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini output?

Extra blank lines, mixed list markers, redundant rules and trailing “hope this helps” notes are common — those options are on by default.
